Symposium Description: Highly effective coordination among law enforcement, emergency management, transportation providers, counties, and other major stakeholders concerned with public safety and emergency planning is of critical importance to our region. However, such coordination - although essential - is often difficult due to the complexity, diversity and sheer number of stakeholder groups. This symposium, Coordinating Transportation and Emergency Management Planning, was held as part of NJTPA's Transportation and Technology Symposium series to discuss ideas and technologies that would help to achieve the benefits of improved emergency management coordination. The agenda and files of the presentations are provided below. For further informaiton: NJTPA External Affairs Director Mary D. Ameen at mameen@njtpa.org .
