Participants focused on how today’s technology is helping us to plan for tomorrow’s transportation. Representatives from the private sector, government and the university research community showcased existing or near-term technology innovations, including dynamic navigation, adaptive traffic signal control, transit vehicle location technology, and 3-D simulation software. Many of these technologies are being deployed in our region, and the attendees had an opportunity to discuss their comments and questions with the presenters.
