Latest Request for Proposals/Qualifications Issued by NJTPA

To assist it in carrying out its Federal mandates, the NJTPA frequently solicits input from qualified professional consultants. The formal process in soliciting input from outside parties is done in the form of a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Below is a list of the most recent RFPs or RFQs issued by the NJTPA or its subregions.

The following is intended to offer procurement guidance to the subregions. The material encompasses the policies of the North Jersey Transportation Authority regarding the procurement of professional services:

FY 2010 DBE/ESBE goal (effective 10/1/09): 15.92%

1) Procedures for Procurement of Professional Services – Details the procedures to follow and items to consider when hiring consultants.

2) Mandatory items to be included in any RFP issued:

a. Affirmative Action Rules for Professional Service Contracts
b. Language on Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Emerging Small Business Enterprise (ESBE) Participation
