The Planning and Economic Development Committee oversees regional and corridor-based planning activities including: the update of the long-range Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), which establishes planning goals and the policy direction to guide investment decisions; the Project Development Work Program (PDWP), which includes future projects in various stages of planning, preliminary engineering and environmental work; and other studies and research, as necessary.
The committee normally meets every other month, on alternate months from NJTPA Board meetings. Membership is as follows
